The campus of the Hungarian University of Sports Science can be found in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.

The city with 2.5 million inhabitants is a true cultural, sporting and commercial centre. It is the sports capital that hosts major world events, a cultural centre with more than 30 theatres, a tourist centre with a vibrant tourism and gastronomy industry, and last but not least, the scientific centre of Hungary.

The sports capital

The campus of the Hungarian University of Sports Science can be found in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, which has two million inhabitants. Budapest is a true cultural and commercial centre, but most important of all, an authentic sports capital which has hosted several major events.

These significant sport events include the 2017 and 2022 FINA World Championships, the 2018 World Wrestling Championships, the 2022 European Men’s Handball Championships, the 2023 World Athletics Championships and the 2024  Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships.

Moreover, the Puskás Ferenc Aréna in Budapest has been appointed to host the 2026 UEFA Champions League final.
