After thirty years, the most significant event in European sport management, the EASM 2025 conference returns to Budapest. In the spirit of sustainability, the organisers are launching special challenges to encourage participants to choose environmentally friendly travel options and stay physically active during the event. The goal is to have at least 300 participants arrive in a more sustainable way.

In 2025, the Hungarian capital will once again host the EASM international conference. While maintaining the highest academic standards, the organisers are also placing strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental awareness.

The #EASM2025trainchallenge:

The aim of the EASM2025 train challenge is to encourage as many participants as possible to travel to Budapest by environmentally friendly means of transport — preferably by train or long-distance coach. This way, everyone can actively contribute to reducing the event’s carbon footprint and set an example of sustainable travel.

Take a photo of yourself during the journey.

Prizes:

At the end of the conference, the organisers will present a special prize to the participant who has travelled in the most sustainable way. The winner will receive personal recognition during the closing ceremony.
