In the spirit of sustainability, which is also one of the main themes of the EASM2025 conference, participants of the recently concluded EASM2025 Student Seminar planted two pear trees and one peach tree at the Water Sports and Recreation Centre in Velence, the venue of the event.
On September 1, three trees were planted by the organizers and student seminar participants at the seminar’s venue, the university’s Water Sports and Recreation Centre in Velence – all in the name of sustainability. This initiative was also meant to ensure that participants would not only return home with knowledge and experiences, but also leave a lasting mark on the event.
As is well known, the EASM2025 conference, starting today, focuses on the theme of “Sustainability in Sport Management.” Sustainability is a central element of the conference, which appears not only on a theoretical level but also in practice. One such example is the Train Challenge initiative, which encourages participants to choose environmentally friendly means of transportation when traveling to the conference.
