HUSS Scholarship Call
For Central and Eastern European University Post Doctors and researchers to attend the EASM 2025 Conference
The European Association for Sport Management (EASM) Conference in 2025 will be hosted by the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), Budapest, offering a unique opportunity for academics and researchers in sport management to present their work, share insights, and expand their professional networks.
A special scholarship program, courtesy of HUSS, has been established for university lecturers and researchers from Central and Eastern Europe, providing a discounted one-day registration fee to facilitate their participation in the conference.
Scholarship Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
1. Accepted Abstract:
The submitted and accepted abstract for the conference must address the topic of the specific characteristics of the Central and Eastern European sports management.
2. Institutional Affiliation:
The applicant must be employed as a lecturer or researcher at a university or research institute located in the Central and Eastern European region in one of the following countries: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Kosovo. 
Scholarship Benefits
– Discounted Registration Fee: Awarded postdoctoral researchers and lecturers from Central and Eastern Europe will be eligible to register for the Day Delegate Pass at a discounted rate of 50 EUR instead of the standard 300 EUR.
This significant reduction reflects our commitment to supporting participation from the region and encouraging the exchange of ideas on the specific characteristics of the Central and Eastern European sports management.
– Professional Support: A chance to showcase the unique aspects of the Central and Eastern European sports management at an international forum.
– Networking Opportunities: Access to the global sport management professional community and opportunities to establish new research collaborations.
How to Apply
To apply for the scholarship, please submit the following:
– A copy of your accepted abstract.
– Proof of institutional affiliation (e.g., employment verification or an official letter from your university).
– A brief CV (maximum 2 pages).
