Polett Hadusfalvy
Event Organiser of the EASM 2025 conference
Event organiser at the Communications and Events Directorate at the Hungarian University of Sports Science
I am an event organiser at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), Budapest. I started my MSc studies in Sports Management at TF in 2020, and I graduated in 2022. Following my graduation, I began to work at the university. At the beginning I fulfilled several duties: as a university sports organiser in the Sports Office and as an event organiser in the Communications and Events Management Directorate, then as the organiser of the Volunteer Program for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest from spring to autumn 2023, and finally as a full-time event organiser at the Communication and Events Directorate from autumn 2023.
My field of expertise includes organising larger scale events (graduation ceremonies, conferences, Open Days, inauguration of the Wall of Hungarian Sports Stars, wreath laying ceremonies), organising events with external partners such as the Hungarian Olympic Committee, cooperation with external partners who hire facilities of the university for their own events, participation in procurement tenders for merchandise products and protocol communication activities, keeping contact with business partners.
For my biggest experience and the biggest “deep-end” was the organisation of the 6th Netrisk Sport and Innovation Conference that included a sponsor (Netrisk) and more than 40 sport organisations, companies, universities, academies, etc. with more than 1,000 participant including great speakers such as several Olympic champions, coaches, sports leaders.
I see the EASM 2025 conference as a challenge from several perspectives such as international communication, practicing English language skills, proper communications, planning the structure of the whole even, keeping to the communication schedule, organising an event that will give the most positive memories to the participants.
In my view, theEASM 2025 conference will be a real international one, it will be a frenchies event that is globally acknowledged in the sports management scene. Since the university is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, the conference will have a special added value.
