The Student Seminar is a four-day international event for sport management students, taking place in Velence HUSS Campus, from August 30 to September 2, 2025, just before the EASM Conference 2025 (2-5th September). The seminar fee also includes participation in the main conference. 
 
Target Audience and Focus 

This seminar is designed to enhance practical managerial skills in an international environment. Participants will engage in activities such as case studies (team-based projects), lectures, and workshops. The program also includes study visits, field trips, and social events. With the EASM Conference 2025 hosting leading experts and researchers, attendees will have excellent networking opportunities to build professional connections. 

The theme of the seminar aligns with the conference topic, “Sustainability in Sport Management,” with a specific focus on environmental, social, and facility sustainability. Discussions will explore new trends, challenges, and opportunities in these areas and their impact on sport management. Participation is open to students specializing in sport management, as the case studies will center on creating inclusive, and sustainable sport solutions. 
 
Venue 

The seminar will be held at the HUSS Velence Campus, a serene and inspiring location near Lake Velence. Surrounded by natural beauty, the campus offers a perfect blend of academic and recreational spaces. The seminar sessions will take place in The Aula, a spacious and well-equipped room on campus. Refreshments, including teas, coffees, and lunches, will be provided to ensure a productive and enjoyable experience. 

Price 
Student Fee: €700 
This fee covers accommodation, meals, seminar activities, and the conference. Accommodation is twin-share and provided at the HUSS Velence Campus Hotel, located on the lake’s shore. 
 
Cultural Activities 
Beyond the Case Studies, participants will experience a variety of cultural and sporting activities to fully enjoy the best of Velence and its surroundings.

– Application Period: Opens January 22, 2025. 
– Application Deadline: April 30, 2025 (23:59 CET). 
 
Applicants must submit a motivational letter (300–500 words) including a brief self-introduction, their contribution to the seminar, and their expectations. Send submissions to: submission.easm2025@tf.hu 
 
Key notes: 
– A maximum of 50 participants will be selected. 
– Up to six students per university can join, with first-time attendees given priority. 
– Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure diversity.

Notification of Acceptance: June 14, 2025. 
Registration Deadline: June 30, 2025 (23:59 CET) via Conftool. Late registrations will not be accepted, and spots will be offered to waitlisted students.
